It’s okay to not know what is happening.

You cannot expect to understand everything that goes on in your life. What is outside of your circle of control will always find a way to drive you crazy if you let it. That’s the trick—you have to learn how to not let it. Teach yourself that it is okay to throw your hands up sometimes, to have no idea what might happen or what is currently happening. Dig deep, thinking about the way that this prompts you to respond.

You are making more progress than you think.

Instead of worrying about doing enough right now, think about how much you have done in one month. Is this not doing the trick for you? Think about how much you have done in one year. Where you were then compared to where you stand now is different, guaranteed. Even if you are doing the same things in the same place, you likely have a newfound mindset.
